Comments
Surveyed in March 1756 by Justly Watson, Director of Engineers, this colored manuscript plan shows apartments for European personnel, batteries, barracks for soldiers,"chapel or Great Hall"; etc. The "slave yard" is in the upper right hand corner of the structure.
