Comments
A colored engraving on paper, with two scenes; the artist is not identified. The top scene shows two native americans, in full dress, and tobacco plants. The bottom scene (right) depicts enslaved men packing tobacco into barrels or hogsheads while being watched by two white men (left), one smoking a pipe, the other apparently keeping a record of the number of filled containers.
