To zoom and pan the maps

on Windows 95/98:
Hold down the right mouse button and select Zoom In/Out. When zoomed in, the cursor will become a hand with which you can drag the map.

on Macintosh:
Hold down the mouse button and the Control button and select Zoom In/Out. When zoomed in, the cursor will become a hand with which you can drag the map.
