This piece explores the use of phasing to reveal the music within language. It consists mainly of loopings of the one sample and of time-stretched versions of that sample. Eventually, different voicings of the same words accompany the original sample and are looped with time stretched versions. I have used the shepard's tone to enhance the growth and momentum of the piece, and, also, to suggest the positivity of increasing awareness.
